റാന്നി ഈട്ടിചുവട് പാലനിൽക്കുന്നതിൽ പരേതനായ പി വി തോമസിന്‍റെ (റിട്ടയേർഡ് അധ്യാപകൻ എസ് സി എച്ച് എസ്സ് - റാന്നി) മകനാണ് ഷാജി പീ തോമസ് (57).
