ഖത്തര്‍: മലപ്പുറം സ്വദേശി ഹൃദയാഘാതം മൂലം ഖത്തറില്‍ അന്തരിച്ചു. മലപ്പുറം കുനിയില്‍ പരേതരായ ചീരത്ത് പി കെ ചീരാത്ത് ഉമ്മര്‍, ഉമ്മാച്ചക്കുട്ടി എന്നിവരുടെ മകന്‍ പി കെ സിദ്ദിഖ് ആണ് മരിച്ചത്.

രാത്രിയില്‍ ഉറങ്ങാന്‍ കിടന്നതായിരുന്നു. രാവിലെ എഴുന്നേല്‍ക്കാത്തതിനെ തുടര്‍ന്ന് സുഹൃത്തുക്കള്‍ എത്തി വിളിച്ചപ്പോഴാണ് മരണം സ്ഥിരീകരിച്ചത്.

ഹോട്ടല്‍, ട്രാന്‍സ്‌പോര്‍ട്ട് സംരംഭങ്ങളുമായി കഴിഞ്ഞ നാല്‍പ്പത്തി രണ്ട് വര്‍ഷമായി സിദ്ദിഖ് ഖത്തറില്‍ പ്രവാസിയാണ്. ജൈദ ടവറിന് സമീപം പ്രവര്‍ത്തിച്ചിരുന്ന ടോപ്‌ഫോമിന്റെ ഉടമയായിരുന്നു ഇദ്ദേഹം.

സാമൂഹിക - സാംസ്‌കാരികസമേഖലകളിലെ സാന്നിധ്യമായിരുന്ന സിദ്ദിഖ് ഖത്തറിന്റെ കിഴുപറമ്പ പഞ്ചായത്ത് നിവാസികളുടെ കൂട്ടായ്മയായ കെപ്‌വ ഖത്തറിന്റെ സ്ഥാപക പ്രസിഡന്റ്, കുനിയില്‍ പ്രവാസി കൂട്ടായ്മയായ ( കിയ ഖത്തര്‍) രക്ഷാധികാരിയുമായിരുന്നു.

സുഹറ നെടിയിരുപ്പ് ആണ് ഭാര്യ. കുഞ്ഞാലിക്കുട്ടി, മുഹമ്മദ് കോയ, ശബീര്‍, അബ്ദുറഹ്‌മാന്‍, സുബൈദ പുത്തലം, സീനത്ത് പണിക്കര പുറായ, സൗദ ചെറുവാടി, പരേതരായ ഉണ്ണിമോയിന്‍, ഫാത്തിമ, സക്കീന എന്നിവരാണ് സഹോദരങ്ങള്‍.

നിയമ നടപടികള്‍ പൂര്‍ത്തിയാക്കിയ ശേഷം മൃതദേഹം നാട്ടിലേക്ക് കൊണ്ടുപോകുമെന്ന് ബന്ധുക്കള്‍ പറഞ്ഞു.
