** **സൗദി അറേബ്യയിലെ ദമാമിൽ പ്രവാസി മലയാളി ജോലിസ്ഥലത്ത് കുഴഞ്ഞുവീണു മരിച്ചു. കൊല്ലം നോർത്ത് മൈനാഗപ്പള്ളി മഠത്തിൽ കിഴക്കേതിൽ സുരേഷ് കുമാർ ആണ് മരിച്ചത്. 27 വർഷമായി ദമാമിൽ പ്ലംബിങ്, ഇലക്ട്രിഷ്യൻ ജോലികൾ ചെയ്തുവരികയായിരുന്നു അദ്ദേഹം.

കഴിഞ്ഞദിവസം ഉച്ചവിശ്രമ വേളയിൽ ദമാം ഹയ്യ അൽ റബീഹിയിലെ ജോലിസ്ഥലത്ത് സുരേഷ് കുമാറിനെ കുഴഞ്ഞുവീണ നിലയിൽ ഒപ്പമുള്ള സഹപ്രവർത്തകർ കണ്ടെത്തുകയായിരുന്നു. ഉടൻതന്നെ ആരോഗ്യപ്രവർത്തകർ സ്ഥലത്തെത്തി ആശുപത്രിയിൽ എത്തിച്ചെങ്കിലും ജീവൻ രക്ഷിക്കാനായില്ല.

ഹൃദയാഘാതമാണ് മരണകാരണമെന്ന് ഡോക്ടർമാർ സ്ഥിരീകരിച്ചു. മാധവൻ പിള്ളയുടെയും ഭാരതിയമ്മയുടെയും മകനാണ്. ജയലക്ഷ്മിയാണ് ഭാര്യ. പവിത്ര, പ്രണവ് എന്നിവരാണ് മക്കൾ. മൃതദേഹം ദമാം സെൻട്രൽ ആശുപത്രി മോർച്ചറിയിലേക്ക് മാറ്റി.
